SAFire – Modi Freestanding Braai

The SAFire Modi is a modern and versatile braai that is easy to assemble and add to your entertainment area. Just buy, install and braai, it is as simple as that! The Modi can be installed as a freestanding braai mounted on top of a level slab or countertop, or it can be fitted snuggly on top of the special Modi Log Box Stand (sold as an optional extra). Alternatively, it can also be Wall Mounted with, or without the stand. Its sophisticated design suites a variety of interiors.

The unit is manufactured out of 304-grade stainless steel and its design includes a “smart door’ that doubles up as an extra work surface. There is a cantilevered-split, stainless steel grill system with two 40 x 30cm braai grids; an ember maker, a potjie hook, and a light fitting.

The Modi Braai can be ordered with an ‘optional extra’ Modi Log Box Stand for use as wood storage and extra counter space.

It can be ordered with an ‘optional extra’ Cooking Accessories Set consisting of a Pizza dome, a steak pan and a skewer set.

There is also an optional extra Electric Spit Braai Rotisserie Set.

The Modi Braai is available to ‘special order’ as a wood and gas combination braai, or as a full gas braai only option.

With all these extra accessories, you can cook almost anything! Stir-fry’s, traditional potjie kos, smoked fish, spit-roasts, lamb kebab skewers, or traditional steak and chops.

Every braai is manufactured according to strict quality-testing standards. Replacement parts and extras are readily available. SAFire is manufactured in South Africa and comes with a 5-year limited structural warranty on the outer braai body and seam joint against warping, buckling, and splitting (excludes rust).
