Home Fires is an established market leader in the development of braai products. With over 30 years of experience, Home Fires manufactures and custom designs built-in and freestanding wood braais, gas and combination braais, griller braais, accessories and fireplace products for local and export markets.

Braai fireboxes are manufactured from A-grade hot-rolled 3 mm mild steel or by special order from 304 stainless steel or 3CR12 (the original 12% chromium utility stainless steel) at an additional charge. Every braai is thoroughly researched and tested for safety, manufactured to strict quality-testing standards and can be used in any smoke-free area.

The product range includes freestanding braais, which are perfect if you don’t have the traditional brick braai chimney needed for a built-in braai, and portable trolley braais that can be moved around your patio if the wind is blowing.

You can custom design your braai, and Home Fires will manufacture it for you: they offer great after-sales service, and replacement parts and extras are readily available.

The most popular models in the built-in braai range are the De Luxe 1000 and 1200 and the Super De Luxe 1000 and 1200. If you want the best, have a look at the Super De Luxe Spit, which is available in a 1200 and a 1500 model and has all the braai ‘must haves’, including a motorised spit arm and a potjie holder. It’s definitely made for the ‘Braai Master’ who likes to impress while entertaining.

Home Fires offers a 15-year limited warranty on all of their products and is produced in South Africa.
