Cooking

Modern cook stoves serve as dual purpose heating and cooking stoves. They are constructed much like wood heating stoves but are specially designed to focus the heat at particular surface areas for cooking. Some of the higher-end stoves have ovens, centrifugal fans and built-in thermometers for baking. Cook stoves and pellet cookers are an economical and eco-friendly way to heat your home and entertain your guests.

Our freestanding, wood-burning cookers and pellet cooking range feature fireplaces with ovens and hot plates or a combination of both. In pellet cookers, the oven is heated by the firebox or, when the cooker is off, by an electric heating element.

Both require a flue installation that exits through the roof above the fireplace, or below ceiling height if the fireplace is installed on an external wall.
