Northern Flame’s 1150mm 5-Burner Gas Insert can be added to your braai as a gas insert, or it can be used as a freestanding countertop, or tabletop gas braai! It’s a dynamic, brilliant addition to your entertainment area and it allows you to host ‘spur-of-the-moment’ barbeques. Gas gives you instant heat to cook delicious meals quickly. This gas insert provides you with an easy solution to feeding the kids first, while the adults relax and wait for the coals to get ready. It’s especially useful at gatherings and parties where there are many mouths to feed. It also provides a great, alternative cooking option to use during those unforeseen power cuts!

The Northern Flame 1150mm Gas Insert is not a sizzler, it’s a gas braai. It comes with a nicely finished stainless steel housing box, making it an appealing addition to your countertop. It features double, durable, u-shaped burners which gives you double the cooking capability and even more heat! It comes with five, 30 000 BTU Arrow U-Burners that deliver highly responsive temperature control adjustments. The dual spark, solid brass, flame thrower ignition provides reliable and immediate heat. There is a reversible, heavy-duty, stainless-steel grid; a fat trap, and a full width, removable, slide-out drip tray which makes cleaning easy. It’s manufactured out of 304 and 430 stainless steel, and the front is powder coated black. It has 304 grade stainless steel burners.

The LPG gas bottle and the gas connections are not included with the insert.

Every gas insert is thoroughly tested for safety and is manufactured according to strict quality-testing standards. Northern Flame is manufactured in South Africa where the ‘braai was born’ and comes with a 1-year limited warranty on the burners.
