Charnwood – Cooking Plate (for 150mm flue exit)

Description

The Charnwood Cooking Plate is a highly effective cast iron hot plate for cooking. It incorporates conduction ‘heat transfer’ fins on the underside of the plate and simply replaces the blanking plate on the top of a standard Charnwood stove. The cooking plate is ideal for fireplaces installed in open-plan living areas where the boundaries of cooking, dining and entertainment are merged. Enjoy surprising and entertaining your guests with this unique fireplace accessory.

The set includes four cast iron trivets for versatility when cooking and the plate is available in two sizes. Both sizes suit most Charnwood models in addition to the Island II. It can also be used on other flat topped fireplaces with a 125mm or 150mm spigot opening (providing that the blanking plate screw holes of the fireplace model line up with the screw holes of the cooking plate).

Please note: the fireplace must be installed using the rear outlet to allow the cooking plate to be fitted on the fireplace top by replacing the blanking plate covering the flue exit.
