Soulfires

Soulfire is a proudly South African brand that grew out of the simple idea that a fireplace should warm a home, look good for years, and feel like something you can enjoy every day.

The range was created by renowned Cape Town sculptor Louis Chanu, who has spent decades working with metal and exploring how heat and shape work together. He wanted a fireplace that had the presence of one of his artworks with the strength and practicality of a long-lasting heating unit. That spark became the first Soulfire design.

Every Soulfire fireplace is handcrafted from stainless steel, which gives the units impressive durability and a look that becomes more interesting as the metal develops a natural patina over time.

These fireplaces need very little upkeep compared to many traditional units. The burn produces almost no smoke inside the home, the internal cleaning is minimal, and the overall maintenance is surprisingly light. They are built for people who want something reliable that still brings character into a space.

Performance Designed for Real Homes

The way a Soulfire fireplace burns is one of its strongest features. The firebox is shaped to encourage a clean draw, which helps the flames burn hotter and steadier while using less wood. In everyday use, this feels effortless. The fire gets going quickly, the heat spreads well, and the glass stays much cleaner than you would expect. With efficiency levels that can reach more than 75% depending on the wood you use, Soulfire fireplaces make excellent use of each load.

This efficient burn also lowers the environmental impact of every fire. When the wood burns properly, you get stronger heat with fewer emissions and far less waste in the chamber.

A Fireplace You Can Trust

Soulfire fireplaces are made from 304 stainless steel and shaped with laser cutting, CAD design, and the steady hands of skilled South African metalworkers. Each joint is welded by hand with care and accuracy, which gives every unit a strong, tidy finish and a build you can rely on for many years. The structure can withstand temperatures up to 600°C without losing strength, giving the range a lifespan that stands out in the market.

There are two models in the collection, the Bellfire and the Baby Bell. Both offer generous combustion chambers, 8 litre ash drawers and solid heat output packed into a clean, sculptural design that works in a wide range of homes.
